I woke up, got dressed, and went straight to a meeting with the different Chinese and English pastors in Brooklyn. We read Philippians 1:3-5 and talked about unity in the church and working together. We prayed and went to lunch at a restaurant called the Lucky Egg where I would willingly live.
I left there and walked a ways with a a new friend who truly thinks about why we do what we do and if it’s even working.
After that I went home to pick up my family. In the common area of our building , I spoke with another future church planter and it was incredibly encouraging.
Finally Maegan, Maura and I went to Harlem to have dinner with some new friends who moved from London to plant a church there.
All of these are people that I already love and am grateful for. It’s almost as though God started my day with “You should be unified and work together,”‘and then was like “And this is what that looks like”.
